What is Termsoup

Termsoup is not a machine translation

Unlike Google Translate, Termsoup is not a machine translation (MT). Termsoup is a computer-assisted translation (CAT) software that helps human translators to work more efficiently and effectively. This means that users must provide their own translations when using Termsoup.

However, we do offer MT as a reference for paid users. If you are capable of post-editing machine translation results on your own, then you can use this as a starting point for your translations in Termsoup.

If you are unable to provide your own translations or post-edit machine translation results, you will need to find a professional translator to help you. As a software provider, Termsoup does not offer translation services. You will need to find a translator or translation agency to assist you with your translation needs.

A poem about Termsoup to entertain you

Termsoup, a tool for translation,
Not a machine, but a creation,
For human translators, a great assistance,
To work faster, and with more persistence.

With its help, translations can be done,
Accurately and with less time to be won,
But one must provide their own translation,
Or use machine translation we connect to as an extension.

For those who cannot do it on their own,
A professional translator must be found,
Termsoup is not a service provider,
But a tool to aid, and nothing more.
