Two ways to upload a source file

There are two ways to upload a source file to Termsoup, paste/drop file or attach file, and each has its strengths and weaknesses.

Method 1: Paste/drop file



Strength: You CAN edit the source texts when translating.
Weakness: The text style of the target texts may not be identical to the source.
When to use: Use when your source texts is (nearly) plain text. For example, text-based books.

Method 2: Attach file



Strength: The style of target texts is identical to the source.
Weakness: You CANNOT edit the source texts when translating.
When to use: Use when your source texts contain complex styles, such as tables, indents, bullet points, hyperlinks, etc. For example. financial reports, product manuals.
