Excel Common Formatting Errors
Common Formatting Errors:
Line breaks within cells: Each cell can only contain one sentence; multiple sentences cannot have line breaks in between. The arrow marks in the diagram below indicate line breaks.

Clear line breaks within cells: Please see here.
Enter one sentence per cell: If you are creating translation memories, handle it this way. If a cell contains more than one sentence, translation memories won't be utilized correctly.
Use translation memory aligner: If your source text and translation are in separate files, you can use the MateCat Aligner to align sentences one by one, and then download the Excel file.
