When to use comment?

You can use comment to remind yourself of the sentences that require special attention when translating, or communicate with other collaborators over a specific source or target text.
If you upload your source file with paste/drag method, you can choose to export the comments when exporting the target file. Yet comments cannot be exported as Microsoft Word footnotes.
If you upload your source file with attached file method, you won't be able to export the comments when exporting the target file.

How to leave a comment?

- Click on the "Comment" icon 💬 to open the comment panel.
- Highlight the source or target texts that you want to leave a comment.
- Click on the "Comment" button in the comment panel.



- Key in your comment.
- Click on "Enter."

How to read/reply a comment?

- Click on the "Comment" icon 💬 to open the comment panel.
- Click on the source texts with yellow underline or the target texts with yellow highlights to read their comments.
- Click on a comment to reply to it.

Changes in style if there is a comment in the source text

Sentences with comments will be underlined in yellow.
Paragraph blocks with at least one comment will be marked yellow.
Collaborators of a file can see all comments in the file.
