What is comment?



The comment feature allows users to leave messages to a specific source or target texts.

Remind yourself of sentences that require special attention when translating.
Communicate with other collaborators about specific source or target texts.

How to leave a comment?



- Click on the "Comment" icon 💬 to open the comment panel.
- Highlight the source or target text that you want to leave a comment on.
- Click on the "Comment" button in the comment panel to add your comment.



- Type your comment into the comment field.
- Press the "Enter" key to submit your comment.

Key in your comment and click on "Enter."

How to read/reply a comment?



- Click on the "Comment" icon 💬 to open the comment panel.
- Click on the source texts with yellow underline or the target texts with yellow highlights to read their comments.
- Click on a comment to reply to it.

Changes in style if there is a comment in the source text



Sentences with comments will be underlined in yellow.
Paragraph blocks with at least one comment will be marked yellow.
Collaborators of a file can see all comments in the file.



How to export comments?



If you upload your source file with paste/drag method, you can choose to export the comments when exporting the target file. Yet comments cannot be exported as Microsoft Word footnotes.
If you upload your source file with attached file method, you won't be able to export the comments when exporting the target file.
