How to apply for OpenAI / Claude API key
Three Steps to Use OpenAI or Claude Services in Termsoup:
Apply for an API Key
Copy the API Key and Paste it into Termsoup
Select the API Key You Want to Use
Detailed instructions are as follows:

Visit OpenAI to sign up for an OpenAI account (the OpenAI interface may change over time and may not exactly match the screenshots below).
After completing the registration process, click on API.

Click the Personal menu in the top-right corner ➞ View API keys.

Click Create new secret key.
-----------------------
Name your new API key (optional but recommended), and then click Create secret key.

Click the copy button to copy the API key. Important notes:
- ⚠️ This is the only opportunity to copy the key. If you fail to do so, you will not be able to copy it later and must create a new key.
- ⚠️ Immediately save the copied key in a secure place, such as a plain text file. Ensure that the API key is not leaked to prevent unauthorized use of your token quota, which may lead to unexpected charges.

Visit Claude to sign up for a Claude account (the interface may change over time and may not exactly match the screenshots below).
Click Start Building to complete the registration process ( do not click on Try Claude in the top-right corner).

After registration, click Get API keys.

Click + Create Key.
-----------------------
Name your API key (name it as you like).

Click the copy button to copy the API key. Important notes:
- ⚠️ This is the only opportunity to copy the key. If you fail to do so, you will not be able to copy it later and must create a new key.
- ⚠️ Immediately save the copied key in a secure place, such as a plain text file. Ensure that the API key is not leaked to prevent unauthorized use of your token quota, which may lead to unexpected charges.

On the dashboard, click on API Keys at the top.

Click Add API Key.
-----------------------
Select the API provider, input your API key, and name the key (mandatory).

The API key is now added.

You can choose the API key in two locations:

- Insert resource.
- Select machine translation.
- Choose the API key you want to use.
- Select the insert method (one-by-one or all at once).
- Click Upload.

- Choose the API key you want to use.
- Select the insert method (one-by-one or all at once).
- Click OK.

Do I need to pay to use the API Key?
To use Claude, you must first add your credit card details on the Claude website. OpenAI now requires users to add credit card details on their website due to high demand.
How to Add Credit Card Details?
Go to the Billing section on OpenAI and Claude websites to add your credit card information. When using OpenAI or Claude services in Termsoup via an API key, you will be billed directly by these companies.
Processing Speed of OpenAI and Claude
While the servers of OpenAI and Claude have improved, they are still slower than traditional machine translation tools. Processing a 1,000-word article typically takes about 5 minutes or longer.
For the "all at once" option, allow sufficient time for processing, then refresh the page to see the results. For the "one-by-one" option, each response will also take longer than traditional tools.
When processing large amounts of content, some sentences may display no result due to timeout.
